Welcome to Vintage Racing!
The Manila Sports Car Club (MSCC), a non-profit organization, prepared these Regulations to govern
vintage (sometimes called "historic") sports car racing in the
Philippines. We based these Regulations on the FIA's Appendix K,
which says:

Historic
motor sport enables the active celebration of the history of the motor
car. The FIA has created the regulations in Appendix K so that Historic
Cars may be used for competitions under a set of rules that preserve the
specifications of their period and prevent the modifications of
performance and behavior which could arise through the application of
modern technology.
Historic
competition is not simply another formula in which to acquire trophies, it
is a discipline apart, in which one of the essential ingredients is a
devotion to the cars and to their history.

With
our race events, we hope to promote the preservation of vintage sports
cars in their original form and provide enthusiasts the opportunity to
enjoy them in friendly competition. As vintage racing matures in the
Philippines, we expect that we will follow Appendix K even more closely
and permit less modification to original specification.
